Abraham, who took over the position in December last year, has substantial law enforcement expertise and an established track record of achievement, including 18 years as a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) at Letshego. On February 20, Letshego announced that Abraham would oversee the company’s efforts to combat fraud and improve risk management measures.

Described as a motivated lifelong learner, the bank said Abraham constantly seeks new ways to improve his knowledge and skills. “His impressive qualifications include two master’s degrees in Fraud and Risk Management and International Business with Law, all from the University of Salford Manchester.”

Abraham holds a bachelor’s degree in Commercial Law from Regent Business School and a Diploma in Criminal Justice and Forensics from the University of Johannesburg. He is a Certified Fraud Examiner registered with the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. He was appointed at a critical time for businesses facing challenges in preventing financial fraud.
