MET pays out N$1.4 million in two years

THE Ministry of Environment and Tourism paid out a total of N$1.4 million between January 2019 and March 2021 to bereaved families across the country that lost relatives due to human-wildlife conflict.

The financial assistance was provided in the form of covering funeral expenses to those who lost their family members.
