FOLLOWING the release of their latest single titled ‘Celebrate Forever’ which received more than 50 000 streams on audiomack, male group Mighty Ill Game (MIG) is gearing up for another body of work titled ‘Nkeralina’.

Speaking to Confidente this week, MIG’s Kavara Tangeni popularly known as Rockid gives a glimpse on what music lovers can expect from the up and coming ‘Nkeralina EP’ set for release on Friday.

“Our single is doing well. It was already on the number one spot on the online streaming platform few days after dropping and we are excited to finally drop the EP,” he said.

Nkeralina was produced by MIG in-house producer ‘Kiwi’.

Tangeni further revealed plans to release a full-track album after the EP saying that the upcoming project is to entice music fans for the album.

“We don’t want to reveal everything as the focus is currently on promoting the latest single and the EP. But, we promise a bomb album,” he detailed.

Comprising of six members, MIG is well-known for bringing diversity to the music scene through their unique sound while promoting an African style through their dress code.

Asked on the type of sound to expect on the EP, Tangeni said the group has brought out their A game this time around combining different genres such as dancehall, hip hop and trap.

“We are musicians and we don’t limit ourselves to any specific genre; this EP is a mixture of different genres, just a vibe,” he added.

Nkeralina is their second album following the release of their first studio album in 2017 titled ‘Unkurungu’.

According to Tangeni, the group had to accurately work on their second album with time as their music does not only target the local market but the international audience too.
