Missing out on school due to Covid intake rules

THE prevalence of the Covid-19 pandemic is not only wreaking havoc in the manner in which day-to-day business is conducted at schools across the country; it is further depriving hordes of learners especially in the lower primary groupings from gaining admission to schools.
This revelation came to the fore after Confidente visited Havana informal settlement in Windhoek, where it established that there are children remaining at home during school going hours due to the limited intake of learners at schools in their areas.
