Missing stillborn case hanging in the balance
• By Rosalia David
THE case of the stillborn baby that disappeared from the Swakopmund State Hospital in August last year is still hanging in the balance with no sign of where the corpse could have vanished to.
Speaking to Confidente this week, the aggrieved father who works as a security guard at Husab Mine in Swakopmund, Collen Mulozi said his family is running out of patience as it has been six months without information from the health ministry.
“If we don’t follow up, no one says anything. Honestly since last year August, nothing has been done yet, I constantly need to counsel the mother myself so that she does not give up because we even stopped going for the counselling that we were told to go to, because it is just a reminder to us,” the father lamented.
Mulozi said the family is now left with no option but to push for compensation for their loss.
