The Mobile Telecommunications Company (MTC) generously donated N$ 65,000 worth of equipment to the Otjiwarongo Namibian Police and Motor Vehicle Funds (MVA) over the weekend.

The donation is to aid the police force in the region in effectively executing its duty of enforcing and maintaining traffic laws and order.

The donated items in Otjiwarongo include reflective jackets, a power generator, extension reels, road cones, foldable chairs and tables, and rubber touches. Expressing appreciation was the Otjozondjupa Regional Commander, Commissioner Heinrich Tjiveze, who welcomed the support.

“We recognize our stakeholders, MTC and MVA, for valuing the shared purpose of keeping our national roads safe. Road carnage is detrimental and requires a collective effort to curtail it.
