My Nigga Get Rich declares piracy a pandemic

FAMOUS rapper My Nigga Get Rich has likened piracy to a pandemic that poses a severe threat to the music industry, potentially causing irreparable damage.
Get Rich said despite selling over 50,000 CD copies, he still has a considerable difficulty because the issue of piracy persists and is generating financial losses. In an interview with Confidente, Get Rich expressed his displeasure and disappointment with those who profit from his hard work.
“Pirating is a pandemic that is destroying the music industry. No one knows how to cure this disease, and we are struggling to find a solution.
“This situation is twisting everything we have worked hard for, not because we don’t care, but because solutions must be found within our society and the music body (Nascam) as a whole,” he said.
“These people are stealing my record, T-shirts, and anything related to G.
R.C.B to make money for themselves. I’m warning everyone out there that I won’t sit down and watch you eat if the table turns. This will turn into something else, and I will not be present when you pay the fines for what you have cost me as an artist and my record,” he explained.
