Naaveyo Family Trust clears Tunacor shareholding concerns

NAAVEYO Family Trust which has shareholding in Tunacor has defended its shareholding saying that it is proud to be associated with Tunacor as it has ensured the participation of a broad base of Namibians from all backgrounds, while maintaining the highest standards of corporate governance.

President Hage Geingob’s daughters – Nangula Geingos Dukes and Oshoveli Munashimue – are trustees of the trust.

In a statement this week, the trust noted that it was surprising that an attempt is being made to scandalise and miscontextualise Tunacor’s patriotic contributions to the Namibian fishing sector and economy.
