Nambahu awaits fate on Gobabis police siege

BRIGADIER General Aktofel Ndengu Nambahu, who commands the Walvis Bay, Keetmanshoop and Gobabis military bases is awaiting his fate regarding his alleged involvement is the Gobabis police siege.
Meanwhile, he is not allowed to leave the country pending the investigation and as a result has forfeited his chances of attending a course in Russia.
The joint investigation team comprising the Namibia Police (NamPol) and the Namibian Defence Force (NDF) remains mum on the outcome of an investigation, which is set to uncover the events that led to a siege at plot 2077 in the Omaheke region – which at that time was occupied by the Omaheke Regional Police Commander, Andreas Haingura.
