Namibian students thrive in China’s academic landscape

Namibian students are becoming increasingly prevalent in China’s academic scene amidst the city’s busy streets and tall skyscrapers.

These students, driven by a desire for knowledge, cultural immersion, and professional prospects, have travelled great distances to seek higher education at the centre of Asia’s economic superpower.

Alina Precious Tjandja, a student of International Politics at the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE), shares her journey of studying in China. Alina’s decision to pursue education in China stemmed from the country’s renowned emphasis on research, technology, and innovation. “China’s educational system aligns perfectly with my career aspirations,” she explains. “Moreover, the opportunity to immerse myself in a different culture has been invaluable for my personal growth.”
