National symbols programs rolled out in the Hardap region

The Ministry of Information and Communication Technology (MICT), Hardap Regional Office, has enrolled in the Daweb and Aranos
Constituencies National Symbols program.

The activity officially kicked off on the 22nd of April and will end on the 25th of May 2024 in the Rehoboth Urban constituencies.
The campaign aims to educate the Namibians, particularly the residents of
Daweb and Aranos, on the importance of national symbols, how to use them correctly, and the application process should
one want to use them.

In addition, it educates Namibians on the meaning of national symbols and instils a sense of patriotism.
According to Shoki Kandjimi, the spokesperson of MICT, the ministry has developed tailored education and communication materials that aim to educate people about the various aspects of National Symbols.
