NGOMUCA Awards: Igniting the Flame of Gospel Music

The Namibian Gospel Music and Creative Awards (NGOMUCA Awards) is set to make a resounding entrance into the world of gospel music.

Founded in 2023 by Musa Simon, a prominent figure in the Gospel industry, this prestigious event aims to celebrate and reward the talent of gospel artists in Namibia, across the African continent, and beyond.

The aim of the NGOMUCA Awards stems from a dire need within the gospel industry.  For nearly six years, the absence of prominent gospel awards in Namibia has left gospel artists longing for recognition and support.

Simon, fueled by a passion for the gospel and a desire to uplift the industry, took matters into his own hands to fill this void. “As a gospel artist myself, I decided to take it upon myself to come up with this awards that recognizes hard working gospel artist and give them the flowers that they deserve,” Simon said.
