THE board of the Namibia Industrial Development Agency (NIDA) has informed chief executive officer (CEO), Mihe Gaomab II, that his contract will be terminated or that his probation, which has now lasted a year allegedly beyond corporate governance law, will be extended, Confidente can exclusively reveal.

An insider who spoke to Confidente highlighted that the board is alleging that Gaomab II did not meet his performance targets and part of the key deliverables for Gaomab II in his probation was the development of an Integrated Strategic Business Plan (ISBP) and the securing of N$100 million.
