No favouritism in the police force: Shikongo

In the BIG Conversation this week, Namibia Police Deputy Inspector General for Operations, Joseph Shikongo takes us back to the beginning of his career before independence. He dismisses key allegations that have hogged the police force related to tribalism, favouritism and disappearing dockets.

He also discusses how Namibia ranks with its regional peers in the crime fighting arena, shortage of law enforcement resources owing to budgetary constraints and how the force has bled millions in lawsuits emanating from unlawful arrests among other irregularities.
