Nust Council clashes over registrar

THE Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST) councillors have clashed with their chairperson, Florette Nakusera and recently appointed vice chancellor, Dr Erold Naomab after the two pushed to alter requirements in the recruitment of a registrar, allegedly to earmark the position for their favoured candidate.
Sources have told Confidente despite requirements having already been approved by the Joint Search Committee of Council and Senate (JSCCS) and the council, Nakusera is allegedly pushing for the appointment of Centre for Open and Lifelong Learning Director, Dr DelvalineMöwes who now according to the advert, closing on Friday, is the ‘perfect fit”.
