Ohangwena residents over the moon about new roads

… as Govt constructs 13 new roads in the region

RESIDENTS of Ohangwena have welcomed government’s decision to construct 13 new roads in the northern region. They say this will make it easy for them to access essential services such as clinics, hospitals, schools and shops.

Residents last week gathered at different sites where they met works and transport minister John Mutorwa and Ohangwena governor Walde Ndevashiya together with regional councillors.

Mutorwa was on a familiarisation tour on invitation from the Roads Authority (RA), which is the custodian of national roads in the country. He was to officiate at the handover of 13 sites, which were handed to contractors.
