Ohorongo, workers cross swords over vaccination

OHORONGO Cement has crossed swords with some of its workers who are anti-vaccine after instituting a policy that nudges employees towards getting inoculated against Covid -19.

According to the company those jabbed will qualify for special leave when they fall ill while those who are not will be given normal sick leave.

The internal memo authored by general administration manager Rudolf Coetzee in Confidente‘s possession said the company took the decision to protect its workers and fight the pandemic.
