Old Mutual Foundation nominates 28 Schools for Planet Earth initiative

THE Old Mutual Foundation has named 28 primary schools chosen to participate in the ground-breaking Little Green Ambassadors Initiative. The outstanding effort is dedicated to empowering Namibian youths to become environmental champions and advocates for environmental preservation.

The Old Mutual Foundation will support planting 56 trees as part of this programme, providing two trees to each of the selected schools across the regions.

In addition to the trees, participating schools will receive needed supplies to care for their trees for three months. Each school will have two Little Green Ambassadors, one in grade one and one in grade seven, who will lead efforts to care for the trees and raise awareness about environmental issues in their school and community.
