Omaruru hospital hit by water, medicine shortage

OMARURU hospital has been hit by a shortage of water and essential medication leaving patients worried of a looming disaster.

This was revealed by a patient currently admitted at the hospital who claimed to have suffered a panic attack on Monday, due to stress after the hospital failed to provide her with her usual injections as they were out of stock.

Said the patient: “I could have died yesterday after l was told that my medication was out of stock. l had a panic attack and my body became very weak. The hospital did not have any injections to assist me as the tablets were only issued today, l cannot survive without these medications but l thank God that he saved me yesterday. The government should do something about this situation because this is affecting a lot of people in this hospital.
