THE Ovaherero and Nama communities remain relentless in the pursuit of reparations pertaining to the genocide, which was perpetrated against them by the German colonial government from 1904 to 1908.
This despite the untimely demise of Ovaherero Paramount Chief, Vekuii Rukoro, and Nama Chief Edward Afrikaner of the Afrikaner Traditional Authority, both who were key torchbearers in the aforementioned quest.
