Confidente called some principals of affected schools in order  to get an insight on why these devices are not functional lying unused for seven years, and they stated that the main reason is that there is lack of technical support to their schools and they have been blocked from using  the computers due to lack of certain software.

Besides the software issue, these schools despite having electricity are also facing difficulties with erratic and weak internet connectivity, while in some cases it is none existent.
