Over 2 000 raped in 2 years
…as cases increase

Astaggering 2 086 rape cases were recorded in Namibia in a space of nearly two years.
This was revealed by the latest Namibian police statics availed to Confidente.
Nampol Inspector General Sebastian Ndeitunga said that a total number of 2 086 rape cases were recorded between January 2019 and November 2020, whereby Namibia has witnessed an increase in rape with records indicating that there were 66 cases more in the time under review as compared to before.
