Over N$300 000 worth of alcohol seized

DESPITE the strict measures in relation to Covid-19 regulations and the death rate tolling over 3 000, Namibians are yet to tone down their imbibing ways, as the country has seen an increase in the sale of alcohol.

According to statistics provided by the Namibian police, during July 2021 alcohol worth N$332 156.99 was seized nationwide.
