Parties say door-to-door campaigns pay off

Political parties say the door-to-door campaign approach is paying dividends as they report recruiting new supporters.

Swapo vice president and the presidential candidate Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah expressed satisfaction with the members’ hard work on door-to-door recruitment drives, she urged them to intensify engagement with the people.

Addressing  a Swapo meetings last week, Nandi-Ndaitwah said the also have to educate our people on the importance of voting

“Let us keep the recruitment momentum throughout the country during this campaign period and in the future. In the same breath, we should create awareness for our people to register as voters, considering that we are all expected to get new voter’s cards for the 2024 elections,” she said.
