Damaseb makes big name for himself in the women Super League

SINCE taking over the reign at Beauties FC in 2021, Errol Damaseb has turned the club into a formidable side that no team wants to face in the FNB Women’s Super League (WSL).

The FNB WSL started last year, thanks to the financial injection from First National Bank (FNB), which made a commitment amounting to N$7.5 million for three years.

Last season, Beauties FC finished third behind second-placed team Girls and Goals and champions Tura Magic FC Ladies (Ongos FC Ladies).

Beauties FC was a top club years ago before the formation of Tura Magic FC Ladies.

Also previously known as Jacking Shipanga (JS) Academy (today Ongos), it used to be a regular winner of league titles.One of Beauties FC’s icons is former Brave Gladiator player Jacky Gertze, a senior figure in women’s football, and current Beauties FC owner Salome Iyambo who, who is now the Namibia Football Association (NFA) Technical Director.
