Pave way for the young – Meme Doctor

LIBERATION stalwart, Swapo icon and Namibia’s first female doctor, Dr Libertine Inaviposa Amathila popularly known as ‘Meme Doctor’ has said that Swapo must now pass the leadership baton to the younger generation to carry forward the journey that she and other comrades started in the 60s.
In an exclusive interview with Confidente which coincided with Swapo’s 62nd anniversary, Amathila who retired over 10 years ago highlighted that she has in her personal capacity already told some of her comrades who are clinging on to party positions to let go and let others, who are younger, take over.
