Pirates set to join old-foes BA in lower division

• By Michael Uugwanga

AFTER a disastrous season in the Debmarine Premiership, Katutura giants Orlando Pirates are on the brink of relegation from top-flight football for the first time in the club’s history.

They will be relegated this coming Saturday against reigning and already champions African Stars.

Pirates are second from bottom on the log with 26 points from 29 matches. They have been so poor the whole season that has seen them having changed five times in their coaching department, first with Ali Akan, who started off the campaign as coach before he left, followed by Jeffrey Roman, Costa Khaiseb, Woody Jacobs and incumbent coach James Britz who cams in few weeks ago to save the team from relegation.
