• By Martha Nangombe

Project Never Walk Alone (PNWA) launched its 2024 initiative with a heart-warming delivery of 169 pairs of shoes to Monica Geingos Junior Secondary School in Otjiwarongo, sponsored by former First Lady Monica Geingos.

The non-profit project brought joy and confidence to the students with their donations. So far, it has delivered 10,169 pairs of shoes in 8 regions and plans to visit the Zambezi region next. The project is expected to deliver over 1800 pairs of shoes.

The atmosphere was excited as the students received their new footwear, a tangible symbol of support for their educational journey. Adding to the excitement, the learners were treated to a live performance by the renowned musician Twazis, a first-time experience. As they danced and sang, the learners received shoes and a sense of empowerment and encouragement to pursue their dreams with confidence.

Manager of Logistics & Events at PNWA, Beverley Naris, thanked all their partners for their generous support.
