Property association launch, a milestone for regional real estate

By Confidente Reporter

In collaboration with its Namibian counterparts, THE South African Property Owners Association (SAPOA) has unveiled the newly established Association of the Namibian Property Industry, also known as the Namibian Property Association (NPA).

This collaborative endeavour demonstrates the regional property industry’s commitment to promoting growth and sustainability in the real estate sector.

Following a call to action from Namibian property owners in early 2020, SAPOA mobilised resources and expertise to help form a specialised industry association.

Extensive talks and meetings throughout 2021 and 2022 established the NPA, marking a watershed moment in Namibia’s property sector.  Both associations are committed to supporting the interests of African property owners and industry professionals.  Recognising Namibia’s enormous property market potential, SAPOA actively worked with local players, including industry giants such as Oryx Properties, Broll, and Safland, to establish the NPA.
