PSUN allegations irk NHE

THE National Housing Enterprise (NHE) has moved to address allegations raised by the Public Service Union of Namibia (PSUN) on NBC television last Sunday that NHE EXCO members are discriminating against employees.
In the broadcast PSUN said it was unhappy with NHE over failure to implement a number of agreements that are pro-workers.
PSUN secretary-general, Ndjizuvee Haakuria said what NHE was doing was discriminatory against its employees.
“After engagement with the union, NHE agreed to set aside N$2,3 million for a once-off payment on the workers’ basic salary, but failed to stand by this,” he said.
