RAMOS Realtors Namibia in Walvis Bay has been keeping children across the country busy with their online kiddies and teen competitions ever since the country went into lockdown in March. Ramos Realtors Namibia mainly operates in the property market, selling and renting out properties and have branches in Outapi, Ongwediva and Swakopmund.

They partnered up with some organisations during the two competitions they held so far, with the first competition having taken place during the country’s 30th Independence celebrations in March. The recent online kiddies and teens online competition award ceremony was staged in the company of new Erongo Governor Neville Andre in Walvis Bay last Friday.

Speaking to Confidente, the organiser of the kiddies and teens online competition, Lezelle Laubscher said the main aim of the online competition is to keep kids busy during lockdown. She also said they are already planning to hold a third competition if new lockdown restrictions come into force.

More than 80 kids took part in the online competition. Entrants can win a prize, depending on the number of likes he or she gets from the general public through Ramos Realtors Namibia and its WhatsApp page.

“We just want to make a difference in kids and teenagers’ lives as we all know that the lockdown has affected everyone. All kids countrywide are welcome to participate in the online competition. We have approached lots of companies, even though we all know that companies are down due to Covid-19, but we just want to make a difference in the lives of the kids.
