Second edition Oil & Gas conference launched

Economic Association on Namibia (EAN), in partnership with the Namibia Investment Promotion and Development Board (NIPDB), is set to host the second edition of the Namibia Oil and Gas Conference, which aims to unite industry leaders and stakeholders to discuss the future of Namibia’s oil and gas sector.

The second Namibia Oil and Gas Conference will be held in August from the 20th to the 22nd at the Mercure Hotel in Windhoek.

Speaking at the launch, EAN Chairperson Jason Kasuto cited the important role of the oil and gas industry in Namibia’s economic development and the preparations underway for the event, stating that the oil and gas conference looks at various aspects.

“The 2nd edition of the Namibia Oil and Gas Conference under the theme: The Next Steps Towards a Prosperous Oil and Gas Industry comes to fruition based on unparalleled demand by industry players (international & local); public, private, academic, and civil society stakeholders, as well as the general Namibian public from local entrepreneurs; to professionals across diverse sectors as well as the youth,” said Kasuto.
