Semba dogged by N$230 000 in legal fees

IT does not rain but pours for the former councillor of the City of Windhoek, Ignatius Semba, as he is now allegedly being dragged through the courts by his lawyer for monies amounting to over N$230 000 in unpaid legal fees.

It has further come to the attention of this newspaper, through Semba’s legal representation, that the Popular Democratic Movement (PDM) is reluctant to come to his aid, unless he drops a N$218 358 financial claim that he has lodged against the opposition party following a protracted labour dispute. This money is linked to unpaid wages that accrued since 2016.
