Six children ‘sold’ to traditional healer

SIX children, two girls and four boys, were allegedly sold to popular Otjiwarongo traditional healer, Hugo Kanenyono, who allegedly uses them as cheap labour in the running of his business among other things   as Tracy Tafirenyika reports.

SIX children, two girls and four boys, were allegedly sold to popular Otjiwarongo traditional healer, Hugo Kanenyono, who allegedly uses them in the running of his business among other things, Confidente can exclusively reveal.

The siblings of two girls aged 14 and 16 and four boys aged two, eight, seven and 12 have been in the care of Kanenyono (48) without being afforded an opportunity to attend school, sources close to matter told Confidente this week.

The family members have said that, the traditional healer has been with the children for two years while Kanenyono claims to have been living with the children for six years.
