Squabbles beset Swapo in Oniipa

Astorm is brewing in the Oniipa district of Oshikoto following allegations that some Swapo members in the region are on a crusade to sabotage the work of Oniipa constituency councillor Tulipohamba Nuunyango.
This came as a result of infighting due to the position of district coordinator that needs to be filled.

The post became vacant after Nuunyango became the new councillor of Oniipa, following last November’s local authorities and regional council elections.

A source within the ranks of Swapo in the constituency told Confidente that a clique of some senior party members are not happy with the candidates that were chosen to vie for the position.
