St Barnabas thrives on Windhoek Country Club’s assistance

By Confidente Reporter

ST Barnabas School in Katutura has received increased assistance from the Windhoek Country Club Resort (WCCR), which has engaged in various activities to improve the school and its students.

Monthly cash contributions of N$ 6250 have been allocated toward meeting a major need: providing sustenance for about 80 underprivileged students at the school.

Florence Rukata, Head of Health and Safety at the Windhoek Country Club and an ST Barnabas School alumna, expressed her gratitude for the support.

“I have the privilege of serving on the Corporate Social Investment (CSI) committee at the Windhoek Country Club, which allows me to recommend specific needs of the chosen beneficiary. I was aware of the school’s needs and campaigned for support. “The passion and dedication exhibited by the school and its management are commendable, and we are happy in the knowledge that our contributions go a long way in enriching our children’s lives,” Rukata said.

Following a request to the school’s principal, a complete list of required items was produced, from which the Windhoek Country Club CSI committee carefully chose projects to assist.
