BUSINESSPEOPLE have rejected the appointment of former FNB Namibia chief executive officer Sarel Van Zyl as the new Development Bank of Namibia (DBN) chairperson.

This comes after DBN announced the new board of directors which comprises of Van Zyl, Evangelina Nailenge, MTC Namibia’s Patience Kanalelo, the Bank of Namibia’s director, Marsorry Ickua, Diana Husselmann and Debmarine’s chief financial officer, Willy Mertens on Tuesday.
