Swartbooi, Seibeb back to Parliament

THE suspended leadership duo of the Landless People’s Movement of Namibia (LPM), Bernadus Swartbooi and Henny Hendly Seibeb are set to return to parliament.

This after the decision to suspend them from the august house was ‘declared unlawful’ by Supreme Court Judge Dave Smuts, yesterday.

The judgment by Smuts reads; “The decision of the respondent to suspend the appellants indefinitely is declared unlawful and nullity and set aside, and the respondent (Prof Katjavivi) must pay the cost of the appellants’ attorneys.”
