SYMLAFA applications open

SIMPLY You Magazine Lifestyle and Fashion Awards (SYMLAFA) applications are now open with a few new categories added to the list.
This year, SYMLAFA introduced two categories, the ‘Foodie of the year’ and ‘Stylist of the year’.
In a statement, the SYMLAFA team said this year also marks their fifth anniversary in show business.

The event will be taking place on September 4.
“As we celebrate five good years in the arts, fashion and entertainment industry, SYM introduced two new categories to the awards and this year, over 65 personalities will parade the stage in style at SYMLAFA2021,” read the statement.

The event celebrates Namibian creatives and provides a platform for personalities to grace the red carpet.

“In addition to the new categories – the already standing categories celebrate the following creatives; photographers, makeup artists, radio personalities, models, comedians, emerging fashion designers, bloggers, accessories designers, TV personalities, fitness personalities, stylists, fashion designers, and hairstylists.”
The nominees are selected through an online entry process, and special rights are given to fans to enter on behalf of their favourite personalities.
This year international special guests will also be invited to celebrate the fifth annual award ceremony.
