Tension in Nampower’s N$2 million property valuation tender

… as power utility demands SA registration

TENSION has risen in NamPower’s tender to re-evaluate the power utility’s 135 properties including land and buildings after bidders have decried a legibility criterion requiring them to be registered with the South African (SA) Council of Property Valuers.
The bid, under reference, NCS/RFQ/NPWR-55/2021 closes this Friday and is worth approximately N$2 million if estimates provided by some prospective bidders that Confidente sought audience with are anything to go by.
