Tensions rise as Namfisa workers vote to strike

THE CEO of Namfisa, Kenneth Matomola, and officials of the Namibia Financial Institutions Union (Nafinu) apparently nearly traded blows at a meeting called by Matomola following a vote by the parastatal’s employees to embark on strike action to force management to award them an eight percent salary increment.
