The Skeptic World: A Journey of Art and Architecture

• By Martha Nangombe

Takudzwa Mukesi, a young visionary, is making waves in both the architectural and artistic realms.

At only 23 years old, this Zimbabwean-born talent has already established himself as a force to be reckoned with, seamlessly blending his expertise in architecture with his passion for visual art.

Takudzwa’s journey into the world of art was unconventional. It all began when he was unexpectedly thrust into the role of muse for an art exam. Despite lacking formal art education, Takudzwa embarked on a journey of self-discovery, drawing inspiration from graffiti artists, surrealist painters, and comic books. His work evolved, transcending the confines of traditional mediums as he delved deeper into exploring different dynamics and themes.

“Stepping into the art room felt like entering a different universe, a world I could relate to, a language I could understand, and art gave me a sense of belonging,” he explained.
