Top cop in land grab accusations

WHAT started as a domestic transaction between two consenting cousins is now raising a stink in the courts as top cop Peter William Demufayo Ndhifikwa is being dragged through courts by Helena Nekome-Mandevhu for alleged unlawful occupation of land.

Ndhifikwa on the other hand is purporting that he obtained rights to the land through the Kavango East Communal Land Board following Nekome-Mandevhu’s prolonged absence from the land which saw the plot being reclaimed by the State – resulting in him incurring financial losses.

1282, Chari cutline located in the Mpungu Constituency in the Kavango-West region under the Uukwangali Traditional Authority.
