Use of IDs for travel between Namibia-Botswana to commence in February


THE Ministry of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety and Security has confirmed that the agreement between Namibia and Botswana to allow citizens use Identification Cards (IDs) will be implemented in February 2023.

This comes after President Hage Geingob, several cabinet ministers and senior Government officials concluded their visit to Botswana where they attended the inaugural session of the Botswana-Namibia Bi-National Commission.
