Vekuii Rukoro’s book to be launched on Commemoration Day

Abiography of the late Vekuii Rukoro will be launched on 18 July and will be released at the end of this month for sales. The book details his complete life from his birth in Windhoek on November 4, 1954, through his passing there on June 18, 2021.

Vekuii Rukoiro was a lawyer, entrepreneur, and paramount chief of the Herero people in Namibia.

Rukoro served in the Namibian Parliament from 1989 until 2000. From 1995 to 2000, he was Namibia’s Attorney General in the Cabinet.

The book titled: The TIMES AND LIFE OF VEKUII RUKORO is authored by Rukee Tjingaete and Vitura Kavari who formally agreed with him to write his biography as he was then too busy to attempt an autobiography.
