DESPITE receiving N$3 million in financial injections from MTC over three years with the goal of establishing the first-ever MTC Volleyball Premier League, the Namibian Volleyball Federation (NVF) has yet to decide on the model towards achieving this vision.

Charged with administering all volleyball related matters, the NVF, is yet to reveal the names of league teams, league competition dates, and the prize money for winning teams in both male and female divisions.

The three-year sponsorship arrangement guarantees the league N$1 million each year, allowing it to flourish, and evolve into the country’s top tier professional competition. This will be the first national volleyball league, and teams from all throughout the country are anticipated to compete.
