Wakudumo, Wu in N$2m Rundu municipal debt

CONTROVERSIAL Kavango East Governor Bonifatius Wakudumo, his brother Faustinus and town ‘favourite’, Chinese businesswoman, Stina Wu owe Rundu Council combined bills of approximately N$2 million, Confidente has unearthed.

These revelations come in the wake of growing calls by well-placed officials in the town to terminate a debt collection tender signed between the town and debt collection company Redforce Debt Management.

In an investigation by Confidente, a source at the Rundu Town Council highlighted that while the mayor and councillors all owe the town below N$50 000, the Wakudumo family and Wu are among the highest debtors of the financially troubled town.
