WOLSA knocks on State House door

… as orphans call for repatriation of deceased war vets

THE Swapo Party’s liberation struggle history is seemingly refusing to remain in the books, as those left behind continue to call on the movement for recognition and closure.

Last week, the War Orphans Liberation Struggle Association (WOLSA), a registered organisation whose primary aim is to advocate for the interests of the children of deceased war veterans and the recognition of their late parents as veterans – as per the Veterans Act – approached the presidency for audience.
