Zuzu hosts an event to break the stigma around cancer
• By Veronica Amaral
In a sincere tribute to the late and former President Hage Geingob, the Zuzu Holding Foundation organised
an innovative event on Saturday aimed at breaking the stigma of cancer.
Rosina Tashiya Kalimba established the foundation in honour of Ella Nangolo, a beloved community figure who lost her
battle with cancer and has been dedicated to raising awareness and providing support to those affected by the disease.
The event, “Breaking the Stigma: Empowering Men in the Fight Against Cancer,” took place at the Windhoek Central Hospital
Chapel and brought together caregivers and many audiences.
Martha Kautanevali spoke about the fashion industry’s role in supporting initiatives such as the Zuzu Holding Hands Cancer Foundation.
