In a significant step towards enhancing customer satisfaction and operational excellence, Mobile Telecommunications Limited (MTC), trained a total of 47 independent entrepreneurs contracted to install its Spectra services.

The installers have successfully completed a one-week comprehensive training programme focused on connectivity installations, customer service, and professional efficiency.

The company said the training initiative was aimed at equipping field technicians with the latest skills and best practices to deliver seamless installation experiences and superior customer interactions.

Over the course of the programme, participants engaged in hands-on sessions and interactive workshops designed to improve technical proficiency, customer on boarding, customer application assessment processes, communication skills, and time management.

“This training is part of our ongoing commitment to delivering exceptional service to our customers,” said Tim Ekandjo, Chief Brand, Corporate Affairs, Marketing and Sustainability Officer at MTC.

“By investing in our installers, we are not only improving the quality of our installations but also ensuring that every customer interaction reflects our values of professionalism, reliability, and care. We will extend the same training to the installers in the northern, southern and the coastal regions,” he added.

Ekandjo explained that the newly trained installers are now better prepared to handle a wide range of connectivity solutions, troubleshoot issues efficiently, and provide a customer-first approach in every service call.

This initiative, he reiterated, is expected to significantly reduce installation times, increase first-time resolution rates, and boost overall customer satisfaction.

MTC plans to continue investing in contractor development through regular training programs and performance support tools, reinforcing its position as a leader in customer- centric service delivery.
